Harbor Playhouse

Harbor Playhouse is Corpus Christi’s premier community theater, located along Shoreline Boulevard in the downtown waterfront district. The Playhouse presents a full season of Mainstage productions, special events, fundraisers, and intimate performances in the Zarsky Black Box Theatre, welcoming patrons throughout the year for evening performances and Sunday matinees.

Due to the high demand for performances and limited on-site parking, parking is actively managed during all Harbor Playhouse events to ensure availability for ticket-holding patrons.

On-Site Patron Parking

Harbor Playhouse Parking Lot

A dedicated parking lot adjacent to Harbor Playhouse is reserved exclusively for Harbor Playhouse patrons during performances.

• The lot is staffed and controlled for every event

• Access is limited to Harbor Playhouse patrons only

• Once the lot reaches capacity, no additional on-site parking is available

Parking availability is limited and not guaranteed without advance purchase.

Parking Rates

• $5 — Prepaid parking when purchased in advance with your show ticket

• $7 — Parking purchased at the gate on the day of the event, subject to availability

Prepaid parking is strongly encouraged and is the best way to secure a parking space for your performance.

• Experience faster entry into the lot

• Avoid the risk of the lot selling out prior to arrival

Many performances—especially Mainstage productions and special events—sell out, and parking capacity may be reached well before curtain time.

Arrival & Timing

Patrons are encouraged to:

• Arrive 30–45 minutes before curtain time

• Allow additional time for peak arrival periods on Friday and Saturday evenings

• Plan early arrival for sold-out or high-demand performances

Once the parking lot is full, late arrivals may need to seek off-site parking at their own discretion.

Cast, Crew & Staff Parking

• Cast, crew, and production staff park separately from patron areas

• Dedicated staff parking arrangements are in place to preserve patron parking availability

• Temporary parking passes may be issued for rehearsals, load-ins, and special productions

Accessibility

• ADA-accessible parking spaces are available within the Harbor Playhouse parking lot

• Guests requiring accessible parking are encouraged to arrive early, as these spaces are limited

• Parking staff will be on site to assist with entry and traffic flow

• Unauthorized or non-event parking is not permitted during performances
